I feel very fortunate that I’ve been able practice yoga around the world for over a decade now.
The yoga journey is a continual one, but four years ago I found the courage to follow a lifelong dream - leave my job in London, become a Yoga Teacher, and move to a new country.... My husband, daughter and I moved to Boulder Colorado in 2017, and I spent 3 years continuing my yoga journey out there, teaching in a range of Studios and Fitness Centres, gaining more qualifications and gaining skills in specific areas including: assists, meditation, prenatal and postnatal yoga.
Yoga & Meditation have quite literally ‘allowed’ me to be more grateful, more grounded and, most importantly, a happier person. It might sound cliché, but how can I not help others discover these awesome life-changing paths? So this is what I do now. It's a whole world of discovery - all leading to:
- Improved Health
- Improved Sleep
- Flexibility & Mobility
- Improved Emotional Health
- Mental Clarity
- Improved Circulation
I have my own unique ways of teaching the practice - everyone has a 'first' yoga class, and I pride myself on being able to take individuals on their continued journey whether totally new to the world of yoga or a seasoned practitioner...
(The longer version of 'About Me' if you're interested...)
I teach a range of styles. My classes aim to inspire inner energy, build strength, stamina and flexibility, and challenge individuals to find and hold their centre. My style caters for those who want the benefits of a physical practice, while also creating an environment for a calmer mind with meditation and breathwork woven in. I have an emphasis on correct alignment through all styles, and am proud to offer a safe practice for all levels. I typically start classes with talks which provide a wonderful opportunity to practice mindfulness and meditation - even for those who are completely new to it. The meaning of these talks and the intentions that come up for each individual are always different, allowing students to continue their own personal journey
Vinyasa Flow / Power - I teach a dynamic Vinyasa Flow, focusing on allowing a natural flow of movement to develop through moving meditation. This is a flow that allows individuals to come away from an overactive mind and help establish a healthier relationship with the body, strengthening muscles and balancing energy; so individuals are better able to cope with life’s stresses.
Slow Flow / Beginner - a slower flow allowing new-comers to the practice to really understand and FEEL what is happening in their bodies, or to simply allow breathwork to match the flow at a slower pace.
Yin & Restorative - Much needed slower paced restorative postures, held for minutes to truly allow the benefits to marinade around the body and mind.
Prenatal & Postnatal - 75 minute classes which allow Mumas to build their community and support network just as much as their mental and physical strength.

“As a Mama of a busy toddler, it’s hard to slow down and give my body the movement it needs for optimal health. It was a treat to take time in the morning to pause in the lovely space Niki has created. Amidst the subtle aroma of essential oils and Niki’s gentle encouragement, by body and mind were rejuvenated and refreshed. I encourage Mama’s to carve out this time for yourself, even once a week!”
Genevieve Doll, Natural Chef
“My weekly classes with Niki are my time to reconnect from the constant pace of London life. She has knowledge of the postures right through to meditation, relaxation and spiritual practices; she weaves in knowledge about how the postures are serving your body which I find greatly helpful, giving me focus and allowing me to know how my body is benefiting from the practice as well as my mind.”
Laura Beck, Founder Pickle & Fizz
"I would highly recommend Niki as a yoga teacher. She is calm and articulate in all aspects of her direction. Niki clearly cares about your overall experience and strives to help you achieve the best out of every session. Her passion for a healthy mind and body is inspirational and makes you want to go back for more. Don’t be afraid if you’ve never done yoga before, you are never too old to start."
Hannah Moore, Specialist Physiotherapist
“My yoga practices with Niki have been inspiring, refreshing, challenging and fun. She is generous in both her teaching, and mentorship, and ensures the whole class get the most out of the practice. I like her educational yet relaxed style and have learnt a great deal about myself as well as the postures themselves. Her classes are inclusive and welcoming to all levels - I would highly recommend her for beginners looking to start their yoga journey, through to experienced yogis looking to refresh and develop their practice.”
Kim Rhodes, Business Director, Havas Sports and Entertainment
“Niki is able to deliver the whole yoga package - she ties in the Chakras, postures, breathwork, and her Dharma talks truly allow me to personally interpret what is going on for me on the day. She has a way of making me realise I need to achieve confidence in myself by exercising my body together with focusing my mind, and how it reflects the way I'm interacting with the world. I feel refreshed and rejuvenated after my sessions with Niki, and I hope I can continue to develop my skills with her sensitive guidance"
Kathy Watters, Belfast City Council
“I’ve been attending Niki’s weekly classes for a few months now, and as yoga was totally new to me I am so thankful for the calm introduction Niki has given me. She always offers me with alternative postures which allow me to start to open up my body after some long-term injuries.”
Angela Spirit, Skills for Care
"Being an incredibly inflexible male I always assumed that I wouldn’t be able to do yoga. Niki has taught me that yoga is more about understanding what I feel in a posture as opposed to simply trying to replicating what a posture looks like. After several sessions I really noticed that my body was more open and my mind clearer. Thank you Niki!"
